Permanent Makeup And Your Everyday Fears. Don’t Be Afraid To Read This.

permanent makeupOne of my friends in permanent makeup is going through a health scare right now. He knows something isn’t right. The doctors say his symptoms could be multiple things but they are totally sure of the cause. He needs more tests.

Fear of the unknown can be powerful, can’t it? While you hope everything will be okay, you really want to know what’s going on. Then you can try to find the right solution. But until then, the minutes of waiting and wondering can seem like hours. I’ve been there myself. It serves as a reminder to me this is also how some people think when it comes to getting permanent makeup.

Fear of the unknown and a woman’s appearance are by no means strangers. They go against each other every day. If you have young kids or grandkids today who watch Disney’s “Phineas & Ferb,” you could say it’s like Dr. Doofenshmirtz battling his nemesis, Agent P – Perry the Platypus. For those going back a few more years it’s like Batman vs. The Joker or Wile E. Coyote vs. The Road Runner.

As a woman, you apply topical makeup to look and feel more beautiful. You want to feel confident in your appearance or at least not too insecure about it. If you are like most women, the emotional ties in doing this are so strong you’d feel like you were going out in public naked if you weren’t wearing any makeup. You’ve seen the paparazzi photos of celebrities. Granted, you’re probably not worried about winding up in the tabloids any time soon. You just hope no one would notice you minus makeup, especially people you know. (For the record, I have done permanent makeup on a number of celebrities without photos being sold to the National Enquirer).

So day after day you go through your personal makeup ritual. You do this however long and tedious and monotonous it can be. Chances are you put extra time and effort into your eyebrows, eyeliner, lips, or all of the above. Once the look of your face is in a place you can live with, you’re on with the rest of the day. How many times a day do you go this? Then comes the fear.

Time and time again it returns. And there’s good reason for it. You know traditional doesn’t last very long even on a good day. You don’t want makeup smudges, smears, or rub-offs. But you know they’ll come. They show themselves easily in any number of ways. Sometimes all you have to do is to eat or drink, be exposed to the weather, or perspire. There are endless possibilities. And when it does happen, you want to know about it right away. You just hope you don’t suffer the embarrassment of being the last one to see it.

These fears help to lead many women to permanent makeup for their solution. And it works. It really does. There’s really nothing to fear. You just have to make sure you go to a proven professional with the skills and experience which are a match for you.

Once you do have permanent makeup, your fear of the unknown about those facial features can go away. The fear of being seen for having no eyebrows, tired eyes, or small, aging lips can be easily overcome. You should have a fresher, natural-looking, enhanced appearance. It wakes up with you. It stays with you day after day, night after night. With permanent makeup, you’ll have no smudges, smears, or rub-offs. No kidding.
